
This little book has come out of my own experience of worry. I was prompted to write it because of the numbers of people I keep coming across who are having their lives made a misery by worry. I hope that this book will help you to lead a happier, less troubled life. There are no theories to be found in it, only the method I have used and my observations of the way the mind works. Nor do I ask the reader to do anything that I have not done myself. I do not promise an overnight recovery from worry, but I am sure that if you take this book seriously, and practise the suggested exercises, your life will change for the better. I have managed to change from being a chronic worrier to being almost entirely without worry. I feel that I am free in a way I never thought was possible.
